TO A HURRICANE
Data from an Air Force Reserve Hurricane Hunter aircraft indicate
that Zeta has become a hurricane, with maximum sustained winds near
80 mph (130 km/h) with higher gusts.

Zeta is now the eleventh hurricane of the 2020 Atlantic Hurricane Season. 2020 joins 1950 and 2005 as the only seasons that have had 11+ hurricanes by October 26th on record. Records on hurricane seasons have been kept since 1851.
