Where might the December 2022 NE blizzard tank on the NCEIS scale and how long does it take for final determination to occur?

Total novice here. I was tying to explain the breadth of the December winter storms (-55 degrees! People with frozen veins! Houses caked in ice) and failing miserably.

I managed to explain the difference between the Great Plains temperature drops and the Buffalo situation, so I’m happy about that.
