Was there a H pressure over Baltimore yesterday causing winds to push the Southern storms to be pushed away?

![]() | Yesterday a system of severe thunderstorms was approaching Maryland from the south and were lined up to nail Baltimore. Then they just… didn’t. I looked at a radar map and noticed them in a ring skirting the city, along with surface level winds originating at the center of the ring. I found a Mediocre Pressure Map by NOAA/SPC. submitted by /u/PokemonandLSD |
