URGENT – Rolling Power Blackouts May Be Coming to Your Area

If you live in one of these states:
parts of Kansas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, New Mexico, South Dakota, Montana, Minnesota, Iowa, Wyoming and Nebraska.
…rolling blackouts may be instituted during the next 24 hours.
The Southwest Power Pool, which coordinates with 14 electric utilities to run the grid has requested its member utilities to begin the blackouts to conserve electricity as demand has exceeded supply. This is due, in part, because of the near zero output from wind turbines in the High Plains this morning.
Please make immediate plans in case this occurs, especially to take care of vulnerable people. Monitor the local news media to learn when and if the blackouts will occur in your location.
