Tornado Warning for Barbour County : The Alabama Weather Blog

Radar confirmed tornado is on the Barbour/Henry County line in Southeast Alabama. It will pass well south of Eufaula before passing into Georgia.

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a
* Tornado Warning for…
Southeastern Barbour County in southeastern Alabama…
* Until 215 AM CST.
* At 148 AM CST, a tornado producing storm was located over Richards
Crossroads, or 11 miles north of Abbeville, moving northeast at 30
mph.
HAZARD…Damaging tornado.
SOURCE…Radar confirmed tornado.
IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
