Snow on the way for much of our area tomorrow late afternoon and evening into Saturday morning and possibly again Monday…

A disturbance will pass through our area tomorrow evening into Saturday morning, bringing snow to much of our area.

Total possible snowfall accumulation:

 

A trace to an inch or two possible:   Southeastern PA, Central NJ, NYC, Long Island

 

1-3 inches possible:  far eastern sections of Northern NJ bordering NYC

 

2-5 inches possible:  East Central PA

 

2-8 inches possible:  Northeastern PA, the rest of Northern NJ, Southeastern NY State, Fairfield County, CT

Below is the latest snow map for tomorrow evening into Saturday morning from the European model, courtesy WeatherBell Analytics. Click on the map to enlarge. This map will be updated as each successive model run comes in, so be sure to check back from time to time through the day… 

Another disturbance will then approach our area Monday, very possibly bringing more rain and snow to our area depending on the exact track of the storm and how it develops. I will post the latest European model snow map for this potential storm Monday, but please understand that I post this with your understanding that this situation is still very uncertain and these maps are likely to change wildly as we get closer in time to the storm, but I want you to see the potential depending on how things work out.
