The Severe Thunderstorm Watch has Expired; Severe Threat has Ended

1 min read

NWS Birmingham has allowed the SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH to expire at 11 pm for the following counties in Central Alabama: Barbour, Bullock, Chambers, Clay, Elmore, Lee, Lowndes, Macon, Montgomery, Pike, Randolph, Russell, and Tallapoosa.

There are no more counties remaining in a watch across North/Central Alabama.

The severe threat for North/Central Alabama has ended; however, a few showers and storms have formed behind the front, but those will stay below severe limits. Some might include some thunder, but that is it.
