Hurricane Lee projected track shifted further east overnight…

The projected track of Hurricane Lee shifted further east overnight, which should keep our area dry and free of most of the wind, except possibly far Eastern Long Island, where there could be some showers and winds could still gust to 40 mph on Saturday. Otherwise, it will be nice through Saturday with highs in the upper 60’s to mid 70’s.

Sunday, clouds will increase with a chance of showers or thunderstorms at night as a cold front approaches from the west. Highs will be in the 70’s.

Monday there will be a chance of showers or thunderstorms ending int eh late morning and early afternoon from west to east as the cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the low to mid 70’s.

Tuesday through the following Tuesday, September 26th are currently looking nice with highs in the 70’s.

Next Wednesday, September 27th, there will be a chance of showers or thunderstorms as a cold front approaches our area. Highs will be in the low to mid 70’s.
