Foggy this morning but highs reaching 70 in some places and then a chance of a shower tomorrow, with cooler temperatures for the weekend and then chances for rain or snow Tuesday and next Friday…
It will be foggy this morning but after the fog clears temperatures will rise to 70 degrees in some inland locations, although it will be cooler on Long Island with highs in the 50’s due to them being surrounded by the cooler ocean.
Tomorrow will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower in the morning as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to mid 60’s.
Saturday through Monday are then looking mostly sunny but cooler with highs in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s Saturday, the mid 40’s to mid 50’s Sunday, and the mid 30’s to low 40’s Monday.
Tuesday there will be a chance of rain or snow as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s, or possibly cooler, depending on exactly how this disturbance develops.
Keep in mind this is still a long way out, and things will change, and this could easily not happen, but just to show you the potential, below is the snow map for Tuesday from the latest run of the European model, courtesy WeatherBell Analytics.

You can see that many possibilities have no snow at all for our area, so that is very much possible as well. We will have to wait and see what happens.
Wednesday will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.
Next Thursday, March 18th, clouds will increase with a chance of rain or snow developing at night as another disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.
Next Friday, March 19th, there will be a chance of rain or snow as the disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid to upper 40’s, or cooler, depending on exactly how this disturbance develops.
Next Saturday, March 20th, through next Wednesday, March 24th, are currently looking nice with highs gradually rising from the low to mid 40’s next Saturday, to the mid to upper 40’s next Sunday, the mid 40’s to low 50’s next Monday, and the upper 40’s to mid 50’s next Tuesday and Wednesday.
Have a fantastic day!
