Severe storms possible again today in parts of our area but a nice weekend ahead…

There will be a chance for some severe thunderstorms again today in parts of our area as a cold front approaches from the west. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.

Tomorrow the showers and any thunderstorms will end in the morning and early afternoon from west to east, followed by clearing, as the cold front passes through our area. Highs will range from the mid 70’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 80’s along the NJ Coast.

Saturday and Sunday will then be very nice with highs in the mid 70’s to ow 80’s Saturday and the upper 70’s to mid 80’s Sunday.

Monday will be variably cloudy with a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm, especially in Northeastern PA, Southeastern NY State, and Fairfield County, CT, as a disturbance passes to our north. Highs will be in the 80’s.

Tuesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.

Wednesday through next Friday, August 25th will then be nice with highs in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s Wednesday, the mid 70’s to low 80’s next Thursday, and the mid 70’s to mid 80’s next Friday.

Next Saturday, August 26th, through next Wednesday, August 30th, there will be a chance of showers or thunderstorms each day, especially next Sunday and Monday as a disturbance may be situated near the Middle Atlantic Coast. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s next Saturday and the mid 70’s to low 80’s next Sunday through Wednesday.
