Rain and snow on the way tomorrow. Model snow maps posted…

Today will be nice with highs in the 40’s.

Tomorrow a disturbance will approach from the west, developing into a Nor’easter along the Middle Atlantic Coast. This will cause rain and snow to develop in the late morning and afternoon from west to east. Highs will range from the mid 30’s in East Central and Northeastern PA, Northwestern NJ, Southeastern NY State and Northern Fairfield County, CT, to the mid 40’s along the Central NJ Coast.

Monday, the rain and snow will end in the morning from west to east as the Nor’easter pulls away from our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.

Total possible snowfall accumulation:

 Trace to an inch:  inland Central NJ, NYC, and Long Island

1-3 inches:  East Central PA, Northern NJ (excluding far Northwestern NJ)

2-4 inches:  Northeastern PA, far Northwestern NJ, Southeastern NY State, Fairfield County, CT

Tuesday through Thursday will then be nice, but with increasing cloudiness Thursday as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s Tuesday, the 30’s to low 40’s Wednesday, and the mid 30’s to low 40’s Thursday.

Friday there will be a chance of rain or snow as a disturbance may pass through our area, possibly developing into a Nor’easter along the Middle Atlantic Coast. Highs will be in the 30’s.

Next Saturday, January 9th, through next Thursday, January 14th, will then be nice with highs in the 30’s next Saturday, the 30’s to low 40’s next Sunday, the mid 30’s to low 40’s next Monday, the 30’s next Tuesday and Wednesday, and the mid 30’s to low 40’s next Thursday.

Next Friday, January 15th, there will be a chance of rain or snow as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
