There will be a chance of a rain or snow shower or sprinkle or flurry today and tomorrow with highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s today and the mid 30’s to mid 40’s tomorrow.

Wednesday is then looking mostly sunny with highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.

Christmas Eve clouds will increase with a chance of a shower during the day and then rain will be likely at night, possibly heavy at times. It will also become very windy at night with gusts up to 55 mph possible as a strong cold front approaches our area. Highs will be in the 50’s.

Christmas Day the rain will end early in the morning on Eastern Long Island as the cold front passes through our area. Temperatures will drop from the mid 40’s to mid 50’s early in the morning.

Saturday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a flurry. Highs will be in the mid 20’s to low 30’s.

Sunday will be variably cloudy with highs in the low to mid 30’s.

Next Monday, December 28th, clouds will increase with  chance of rain or snow developing at night as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.

Next Tuesday, December 29th, there will be a chance of rain or snow as a disturbance may pass through our area. Highs will be in the 30’s.

Next Wednesday, December 30th, will be variably cloudy with highs in the 30’s.

New Year’s Eve there will be a chance of rain or snow as a disturbance may approach our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.

New Year’s Day there will be a chance of rain or snow ending in the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.

Next Saturday, January 2nd, and next Sunday, January 3rd, are then looking variably cloudy with highs in the 30’s.
