Severe thunderstorms possible tonight…

A disturbance approaching our area from the west will cause showers and thunderstorms to develop tonight and some of the storms could be severe, especially in Southeastern PA and Southern NJ. Highs will be in the 80’s.

Tomorrow will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers or thunderstorms again, especially at night, and some of the storms could be severe, especially in Southeastern NJ, as the disturbance and then a cold front pass through our area. Highs will again be in the 80’s.

Wednesday and Thursday will then be nice and a bit cooler, especially on Wednesday, with highs int eh mid 70’s to mid 80’s, rising to the low to mid 80’s Thursday.

Friday will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers or thunderstorms as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.

Saturday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm as there may remain a bit of instability behind the cold front. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.

Next Sunday, August 21st, through next Wednesday, August 24th will be variably cloudy with highs in the low to mid 80’s next Sunday and the 80’s next Monday through Wednesday.

Next Thursday, August 25th, there will be a chance for an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm as a disturbance and cold front approach from the west. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.

Next Friday, August 26th will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers or thunderstorms as the disturbance continues to approach our area. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.

Next Saturday, August 27th there will be a continued chance for a shower or thunderstorm as the cold front finally passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.

Next Sunday, August 28th, will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm as there may remain a bit of instability behind the cold front. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.
