Some rain and even some snow this weekend and then watching a potential rain/snowstorm next Friday…

Clouds will increase today with rain developing this afternoon and evening from southwest to northeast as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.

Tomorrow the rain will end in the morning from southwest to northeast as the approaching disturbance passes through the Great Lakes area and to our north, bringing a warm front through our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.

Sunday rain and snow will develop from southwest to northeast in the morning as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.

Monday, the rain and snow will end early in the morning from west to east as the disturbance pulls away from our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.

Total possible snowfall accumulation:

Trace to a coating possible:  East Central NJ, NYC, and Long Island

Coating to an inch possible:  East Central PA, West Central and Northeastern NJ, Southern Westchester County NY, and Southern Fairfield County, CT

One to Three Inches Possible:  Northeastern PA, Northwestern NJ, Southeastern NY State (excluding Southern Westchester County, and Northern Fairfield County, CT

Tuesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a flurry. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.

Thursday, clouds will increase late in the day as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.

Next Friday, January 8th, there will be a chance of rain or snow as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.

Next Saturday, January 9th, through next Tuesday January 12th, will then be nice with highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s next Saturday through Monday and the 30’s next Tuesday.
