Nice today and tomorrow and then some snow in much of our area Tuesday into early Wednesday, and just a slight chance Thursday…
Today and tomorrow will be nice with highs in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s today and the mid 30’s to low 40’s tomorrow.
Tuesday, a disturbance will approach our area, causing light snow to develop, with a mixture of rain and light snow possible in East Central PA and Central NJ. Highs will range from the mid to upper 20’s in Northeastern PA to the mid to upper 30’s along the NJ Coast.
Wednesday, the light rain and light snow will end in the morning from northwest to southeast. There will likely be generally 1-3 inches of snow, with lesser amounts possible in Central NJ, especially near the coast. Highs will be in the 30’s.
Thursday, there will be just a slight chance of snow as a strong disturbance will pass south of our area, through the Virginias, forming into a strong Nor’easter off Cape Hatteras, NC or the Virginia Capes, but then likely heading mostly east and out to sea, rather than north. We will need to keep an eye on this storm, as any track further north and west could threaten our area with some snow, although that is looking unlikely at this moment.
Friday and Saturday are then looking nice with highs Friday from the upper teens in Northeastern PA to the upper 20’s in Central NJ and Saturday from the mid 20’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 30’s in Central NJ.
Next Sunday, January 31st, and next Monday, February 1st, there will be a chance of rain or snow as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the 30’s next Sunday and the mid 30’s to low 40’s next Monday.
Next Tuesday, February 2nd and next Wednesday, February 3rd, are then looking nice with highs in the 30’s next Tuesday and the mid 30’s to low 40’s next Wednesday.
Next Thursday, February 4th, and next Friday, February 5th, there will be a chance of rain showers as a cold front approaches from the west. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Thursday and the 40’s next Friday.
Next Saturday, February 6th, is then looking nice with highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
