COUNTIES UNTIL 1230 AM CST…
At 1140 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 9 miles southwest of Collinwood to 7 miles
northeast of Tishomingo State Park to near Mantachie. Movement of
this line was to the east at 15 mph.
Wind gusts of 30 to 40 mph will be possible with these storms.
Locations impacted include…
Florence, Muscle Shoals, Russellville, Sheffield, Tuscumbia, Red Bay,
Phil Campbell, Killen, Cherokee and Littleville.
Strong gusty winds will be capable of knocking down small tree limbs
along with other small unsecured items. Seek safe shelter until this
line of storms has passed.
Very heavy rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
