Snow with positive Wet Bulb Temp : meteorology

Today we are under a Polar Maritime airmass sourced from Greenland/Eastern Canada. It’s relatively cool though not particularly freezing, temps are about 5c.
In the showers it falls to about 2c. What has struck me as odd is the fact that we’re having graupel and occasionally snow with a positive dew point and wet bulb temp.
I have experience of this and I nearly always have rain at these conditions:

How is this occurring with such a high wet bulb? Is this caused by a downdraft?
