Sky island clouds?

Hi! I’m new here. These clouds look like melting triangles. I never used to notice these, but there are tons of them around lately. Why do they look like that? Sometimes, I can look at the sky all around, and they all look like they’re melting downward, rather than showing a wisping in one direction, consistent with wind. The best idea I have is that they are cirrus clouds literally melting down…. but they have a tendency to look like sky islands from Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
