Severe Weather Threat Continues to Dwindle…Should be Limited to Southeast Alabama Later On

1 min read

It is a stormy night across the southern half of the state as heavy rain and storms continue moving across the area.

None of the storms are severe, and no watches or warnings are in effect.

The rain and storms should begin to diminish after 2 a.m. or so.

Until then heavy rain and some localized flooding is possible.

The severe weather threat continues to dwindle. There is just no instability except across coastal areas of Alabama and the Florida Panhandle. This instability will be drawn up into Southeast Alabama overnight and through the early morning hours. Severe weather will still be possible across extreme southern Alabama and into Southeast Alabama during the early morning hours.
