My name is Nate, I am a 33 year old male from Ohio.

I want to become a Climatologist because I love conservation, weather, the atmosphere and our Earth!

I have a BA from Marietta College in Studio Art. I know I have to go back to school, and I’m looking for resources to help me on this journey. I am currently in contact with the Atmospheric Science program at Ohio State University.

Are there accredited programs at schools that are necessary for getting a job? What kind of degree should I be getting? Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, Environmental Science? Should I be getting a Master’s degree? Where can I find statistics on job demands?

I want to contribute to making this planet a better place in my own way. Any help from people with experience would be greatly appreciated!
