Showers and storms have developed over the eastern half of ALabama this afternoon.
As you would expect, the ones that have managed to developed are becoming fairly strong. Nothing severe at this time but there probably will be a few warnings through the afternoon.
A line of strong storms is approaching Northwest Alabama at this hour. A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for the Tennessee Valley.
