Quickly developing wildfire in Wharton State Forest (South Jersey) seen from Doppler radar. : meteorology

I was wondering if there was a specific term for the current weather phenomenon. The Greater Toronto Area isn’t usually so windy, and the periodic strong winds that aren’t accompanied by a storm is unusual to me. Is there a term for the windy gusts? Perhaps this is quite normal and there is no specific classification term?
Also I saw these numbers from the Environment of Canada website, but they don’t do much to explain the sudden gusts:

I appreciate your help!
