Questions about CBs in Storm Systems
1 min read
![]() | Hi all! I have an upcoming flight today and am somewhat of a nervous flyer, so I’ve been checking weather reports related to my trip. My flight will probably go through the red web here where formerly-Hurricane now Extratropical Storm Franklin is. Does the occasional embedded cumulonimbus at 40,000 mean that the ride might be bumpy if my plane can’t reach that altitude? Or does it just mean that pilots will need to keep on the lookout, potentially dodge cumulonimbus clouds? submitted by /u/Kind-Influence7222 |
