After days (weeks? months?) of clouds, the weekend starts with clearing skies and some Friday morning fog in Central Indiana. Friday morning lows were 18 in Bloomington, 20 in Lafayette and Terre Haute, 23 in Indy, and 25 in Muncie.
Our next weather maker brings spotty showers Saturday. Little precipitation is expected. Some of it will mix with snow as it begins and ends.
There is another chance of light rain/snow Monday, and a little better chance of the same Wednesday into very early Christmas Eve morning. Sooooo a coating of snow could be on the ground for Christmas, but a technical “White Christmas” looks unlikely. What IS likely? Very cold weather for Santa. These are computer-modeled temperatures for 7am that morning.
