Outlook for snowfall in The Alps – Please Help!!

I'm unsure if this is the appropriate place to post this, however I figured I'd consult a subreddit full of people who have a far greater understanding of weather than I do.

I am scheduled to be going skiing for my birthday in Madonna di Campiglio (Italy) on the 2nd February for 10 days and am concerned about the current lack of snow in Europe so am contemplating cancelling and going to a Scandinavian resort, however, I only have 4 hours in which to make my decision.

The usual site that I use for checking weather is Ventusky (if there is a more accurate one then please suggest!) and as far as I can tell, by the 19th of January, there will be two thirds less total snow cover than what there is at present… meaning my entire holiday will rest upon there being a snow dump between the 19th and the 2nd, unless I have misinterpreted the data, which is highly probable.

I've been endlessly looking for and comparing data regarding historical temperatures and snowfalls in an attempt to be able to hazard a guess as to whether or not the current conditions are just an anomaly, and whether or not normal snow fall will resume soon, but every source I've found is different to the next, so I am out of ideas, hence my post.

Any advice will be greatly welcomed!
