New Severe T-Storm Warning for Parts of Chambers & Tallapoosa Counties Until 6:45 pm : The Alabama Weather Blog

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for portions of Chambers and Tallapoosa counties until 6:45 pm this evening. Severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Veasey Creek Park to near Ridge Grove, moving southeast at 15 mph.
Locations to be impacted by these severe storms are Valley, Lanett, Dadeville, Camp Hill, La Fayette, Waverly, Cusseta, Chambers County Lake, Huguley, Fairfax, River View, Sturkie, Oak Bowery, Trammel Crossroads, Ridge Grove, West Chambers, Lanett Municipal Airport and I 85 Welcome Center At Lanett.
Saturated ground and strong wind may bring down trees and power lines. Be sure to move to an interior room on the lowest floor of your building. #StayWeatherAware
