Midday Nowcast: Sunshine with Warming Trend : The Alabama Weather Blog

2 min read

SUNSHINE IS BACK: A good-looking Wednesday is underway across Alabama with plenty of sunshine and blue sky. There are a few areas of clouds, but overall, the sky is featuring more sunshine. Temperatures are in the mid to upper 60s across much of North/Central Alabama. Tonight will be clear and chilly with lows in the upper 30s and lower 40s.

THROUGH THE WEEKEND: Perhaps this nicest stretch of weather so far this year is ahead for Alabama tomorrow and through the weekend. Alabama will be rain-free with chilly mornings and pleasant afternoons. Highs will be in the mid to upper 60s tomorrow, followed 70s Friday. Colder spots across North Alabama could see lows in the mid to upper 30s early Friday morning.

Saturday will feature sunshine in full supply with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Sunday will feature a mix of sun and clouds with warmer temperatures; highs will be in the upper 70s and lower 80s. For those sunrise services Sunday, it will be clear with temperatures in the upper 40s and lower 50s.

NEXT WEEK: Monday looks warm and dry with highs in the low to mid 80. Then, we will have some risk of rain in the Tuesday/Wednesday time frame. Way too early to know if severe storms will be an issue, but the overall setup does not support the threat at this time. Dry and cooler air returns to Alabama Thursday and Friday with highs back in the 60s and 70s.
