HRD scientists participate in 2023 Tropical Cyclone Operations and Research Forum – Hurricane Research Division

The HRD scientists participate in 2023 Tropical Cyclone Operations and Research Forum at the Interdepartmental Hurricane Conference was held 7-9 March in Miami. The Working Group for Tropical Cyclone Operations and Research, part of the Interagency Council for Advancing Meteorological Services, hosts this annual conference to bring together the Federal hurricane community: operational forecast centers; numerical modelers; aerial, ocean, satellite, and radar observing groups; and supporting research functions. These experts review last year’s challenges, plan operations for the upcoming season, and discuss research efforts in the context of operational needs.
