WASHINGTON — Are you an educator looking to add some interactive science time to your curriculum? Schedule a classroom visit from Topper, Kaitlyn, Chester, Miri or Makayla!
WUSA9’s team of meteorologists, known as the “Weather Watch” team, are incredibly passionate about what they do and would love to share their passion with your students. They have presentations catered to every grade level and would be happy to work with you to determine the best topics to cover during a visit.
If it’s feasible to safely bring students outside during the visit, they can also bring the ECO9 news truck to show students – it’s the first environmentally friendly news gathering vehicle in our industry that powers equipment needed for broadcast with a rechargeable battery and solar panels; and it looks pretty cool, too!
Visits are typically an hour long.
Please fill out the form below if you are interested in scheduling a classroom visit or community event with a team member. All questions must be answered.
