High air pressure above mountain ranges?

Hi all, does anyone understand why zoom.earth shows relatively high air pressures above mountain ranges? For example the Andes: https://zoom.earth/maps/pressure/#view=-21.3,-86.2,4z

I would expect the air pressure to be lower at the surface of places that have a higher elevation?
