A nice weekend ahead but then some showers and thunderstorms possible Monday and Tuesday, especially Tuesday…
There will continue to be some showers and thunderstorms today with highs in the upper 70’s and 80’s.
This weekend will then be nice, but with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm tomorrow, especially at night in Eastern PA. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s tomorrow and in the mid 70’s to low 80’s Sunday.
Monday right now is looking better than it did yesterday as the hurricane out in the Atlantic should remain far enough out to sea to keep it from interacting with the approaching cold front, keeping us mainly dry, however there will still be a chance of a shower or thunderstorm, especially in Southern NJ and near the coast. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.
Tuesday, a Tropical Storm or Hurricane could develop in the Gulf of Mexico, with landfall passible along the West Coast of Florida. This disturbance may combine with an approaching cold front to bring us a chance for some showers or thunderstorms, especially near the coast, as the remnants of this disturbance pass southeast of our area Tuesday night. The rain could be heavy at times and the winds could be gusty, especially near the coast. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70’s.
Below (the yellow x) is the disturbance currently in the Caribbean
Sea will move across the Yucatan Peninsula and into the Gulf of Mexico Sunday
and Monday, developing into a Tropical Storm or quite possibly a Hurricane
Tuesday before making landfall along the West Coast of Florida Tuesday, then moving
Southeast of our area Tuesday night.

Things are then currently looking next Wednesday through the following Thursday with highs mainly in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s
