Temperatures are now in the 70s in all areas except Northeast Alabama, where 60s are still around.

Highs will look like this today:

In the satellite image, you can see a few clouds associated with an upper trough to the northwest of Alabama. Those will invade our state tonight, but there won’t be enough moisture for rain unfortunately. Clouds will move out quickly in the morning, taking our skies from partly cloudy to mostly clear for the rest of the say. Despite some northerly winds, temperatures will actually be a degree or two warmer than those of today.

That warming trend will continue into the new week, with upper 70s Monday and readings flirting with 80F Tuesday and Wednesday. Expect near perfect weather for the first three days of the week, and possible Thursday. Rain will return Friday, but leave in time for a great weekend.
