When it comes to apple desserts, it takes a lot to impress me. I’m just not a huge fan of the texture of a cooked apple, but that was before I met my friend called apple dumpling. She’s warm, sweet and a little flaky, but hey … who isn’t these days?
Seriously, these little babies are my all-time favorite apple dessert. They are warm, gooey and the crunchy part with the sugar on top … good gracious. And easy – it really probably couldn’t get any easier. You put some whipped cream or vanilla ice cream with these babies and prepare to be amazed. I know it sounds weird with the Sprite and all, but just trust me.
These things will make your tongue slap your brains out, as my sweet BigMama used to say.
