A cold frontal system drop through the region last night and has ushered in a colder air mass for the remainder of the week and it’ll stay below-normal through the weekend as well. In addition to the noticeable cool down from yesterday, winds will be a big factor into tomorrow with gusts from the NW up to 30 mph or so. This colder air mass is anchored by strong high pressure across southern Canada and this system will be in control of the weather right through Sunday. Looking ahead, a big warm up is coming to the eastern half of the nation next week with noticeable warming likely to arrive here for the Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday time period.
