Discussion

Today will be a windy and unseasonably chilly day in the Philly metro region despite some sunshine. The much colder-than-normal conditions will continue through tonight, but then temperatures will modify noticeably tomorrow afternoon and it’ll remain seasonably mild this upcoming weekend. Strong low pressure will bring more rainfall to the area on Saturday night and early Sunday and this system will be followed by a cool air mass for the beginning part of next week. Later next week, a big time warm up is likely in the eastern states as strong high pressure ridging builds eastward and 80+ degrees is on the table in the Mid-Atlantic region.
