Mostly cloudy, becoming windy, quite mild, good chance of PM showers, maybe a late day thunderstorm, some of the rain can be heavy at times, near 70 degrees for afternoon highs

Thursday Night             

Mostly cloudy, windy, mild, good chance of showers, maybe a strong thunderstorm, some of the rain can be heavy at times, mid 50’s for late night lows


Considerable clouds, quite breezy, a bit cooler, still the good chance of showers, maybe a thunderstorm, near 65 degrees; turning colder at night


Partly sunny, breezy, cooler, upper 50’s


Mainly sunny, warmer, near 70 degrees


Mainly sunny, nice, low-to-mid 70’s


Yesterday turned out to be a very warm day in the Mid-Atlantic region with many areas flirting with the 80 degree mark for afternoon highs. While not as warm today, it’ll remain on the mild side with temperatures climbing through the 60’s this afternoon in the Philly area.  A strong cold front heads this way later Thursday and this system is likely to generate numerous showers around here and maybe a strong thunderstorm or two from later tomorrow into late Friday. High pressure heads this way for the weekend with cooler conditions on Saturday and then mild weather for Sunday and Monday.
