Discussion

Our extended stretch of warm and rain-free weather will come to an end today as some decent rainfall is approaching the area ahead of a slow-moving cool front. The rain is likely from this afternoon into Thursday and some of it can moderate-to-heavy at times. High pressure will follow the cool frontal passage and it’ll anchor a cooler air mass for the late week; especially, when compared to our recent abnormally warm weather. After a cool and dry start to the weekend, another low pressure system to our southwest could impact the area with more rainfall on Sunday.
