Discussion
Here we are in the second half of April and significant accumulating snow is on the table for later today and tonight across interior sections of the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast US. Around here, a soaking cold rain is coming from later today into late tonight as a strong storm pushes to the northeast near and along the east coast. There is an outside chance that snow mixes in late tonight across some of the far northern and western suburbs. It remains unusually chilly on Tuesday with partial sunshine and windy conditions. High pressure will return for the mid-week and it’ll turn milder with 70 degree highs returning late in the week.
