Becoming mainly cloudy, quite warm and very windy, chance of PM showers and thunderstorms, some of the late day storms can be on the strong-to-severe side, highs near 70 degrees; S-SE winds increasing to 10-20 mph; gusts to 40 mph possible


Showers and possible thunderstorms in the evening, mainly cloudy late, windy with gusts to 40 mph or so, mild, lows in the lower 50’s


Mainly cloudy, cooler, windy, chance for early AM showers, near 60 degrees

Mainly clear, breezy, cold, upper 20’s for late night lows


Mainly sunny, breezy, still chilly, near 50 degrees


Mainly sunny, breezy, noticeably milder, upper 50’s

A potent cold front will cross the Mississippi and Tennessee valleys later today and tonight increasing the chance for severe weather to include the possibility of damaging winds, hail and even isolated tornadoes.  A low-level jet will strengthen today as associated surface low pressure intensifies significantly.  The front will slide east of here at mid-week and temperatures will drop noticeably with highs likely confined to the upper 40’s on Thursday.
