Discussion
The long duration major winter storm that has impacted the Mid-Atlantic region since Sunday will continue to produce occasional snow here today and tonight and winds will remain quite strong. The occasional snow can result in additional small accumulations for the region adding on to the prior hefty two-day totals (e.g., 12+ inches now in King of Prussia). High pressure will edge into the region on Wednesday and it’ll stick around on Thursday. A frontal system will cross the area on Friday and it could generate some rain and snow showers in the Mid-Atlantic region.
