Discussion
The major winter storm that has impacted the Mid-Atlantic region since the latter part of the weekend can continue to produce occasional snow in the area today and snow showers tonight and winds will remain quite strong. This occasional snow shower activity can result in additional small accumulations for the DC metro region. High pressure will edge into the region on Wednesday and it’ll stick around on Thursday. A frontal system will cross the area on Friday and it could generate some rain showers in the region to end the work week.
