Discussion

A cold front passed through the region last night and has ushered in cooler air to the Mid-Atlantic region for the end of the work week. An even stronger front will arrive late tomorrow possibly accompanied by showers and thunderstorms and its passage will usher in a colder air mass for Sunday.  In fact, temperatures could start off the day on Sunday near the 40 degree mark in some spots and they’ll be confined to the 50’s for afternoon highs – quite a difference from the 80’s of the past couple of days.  Low pressure will try to organize on Monday near the Mid-Atlantic coastline and it could produce some chilly rain around here and even some snow across interior sections of the Mid-Atlantic/NE US.
