Discussion

A strong cold front passed through the region late yesterday and its passage has ushered in a much different air mass with noticeably less humidity and very comfortable temperatures.  There will be plenty of sunshine in the wake of the frontal passage both today and on Wednesday to go along with the pleasant conditions.  Another disturbance could throw some shower activity our way on Wednesday night and Thursday and then the hottest weather so far is destined to arrive for Friday and Saturday. Another cold front approaches late Sunday and it should bring more showers and thunderstorms to the Mid-Atlantic region with cooler air to follow for early next week.
