Mainly cloudy, warm, still the chance of showers and possibly a thunderstorm, lower 70’s for afternoon highs

Wednesday Night

Mainly cloudy, mild, maybe a shower, lower 50’s for late night lows

Partly sunny, comfortable, near 70 degrees

Mainly cloudy, cooler, rain is likely, lower 60’s

Mainly cloudy, cool, still the chance of rain, mid-to-upper 50’s

Partly sunny, breezy, cool, cannot rule out showers, lower 60’s

The weather pattern will remain quite unsettled across much of the nation in coming days and there will be additional rainfall here in the Mid-Atlantic region on at least a couple of occasions. After a relatively dry, but cloudy day on Tuesday, the next system to impact us will bring showers here from tonight into Wednesday and there can be a thunderstorm or two mixed in as well.  A pretty decent day is likely on Thursday before the next system arrives which appears destined to produce more rain here from Friday into Saturday. After that, low pressure is likely to stall just off the east coast at the same time strong high pressure builds to our northeast. It is still a bit too early to determine which of these two systems will win the battle and take control of the weather for the second half of the upcoming weekend.
