Discussion
The weather pattern will remain unsettled across much of the nation in coming days and there will be additional rainfall in the Mid-Atlantic region. After a relatively dry day on Tuesday, the next system to impact us will bring showers here from later tonight into Wednesday and there can be a thunderstorm or two mixed in as well. A nice day is possible on Thursday – in between systems – but more rain is likely by the end of the work week from another disturbance moving across the country in a west-to-east fashion. The weekend likely starts off unsettled, but there is a chance that Sunday, Mother’s Day, turns out to be rather nice.
