Mainly cloudy early today with showers pulling away, some sunshine for the mid-day and afternoon hours, breezy, cooler-than-normal, highs in the mid 70’s (normal high is now 80 degrees at DCA); N-NW winds increasing to 10-20 mph

Mainly sunny, nice, mid-to-upper 70’s for afternoon highs

Sunshine followed by late day clouds, pleasant temperatures, mid-to-upper 70’s


Mainly cloudy, breezy and cool with the chance of rain, low-to-mid 70’s


Low pressure will pull away from the region today and high pressure will then resume its control on the Mid-Atlantic region. After early day clouds and residual showers, sunshine will return for the mid-day and afternoon and the remainder of the work week looks quite nice with plenty of sunshine each day and very comfortable temperatures. Strong low pressure may try to ride up along the east coast this weekend potentially bringing widespread and soaking rain to the region.
