6-Day forecast for the Philadelphia, PA metro region

Mainly sunny, breezy, very cold, highs in the low-to-mid 20’s with lower wind chills; W-NW winds around 10-15 mph

Mainly clear, brisk, quite cold, lows in the middle teens

Mainly cloudy, cold, chance of a bit of snow, lower 30’s for highs

Thursday Night

Mainly cloudy, cold, chance of snow late, lower 20’s for late night lows

Mainly cloudy, cold, periods of snow and some accumulations are likely, near 30 degrees

Partly sunny, very cold, windy, lower 20’s for highs with even lower wind chill values

Mainly sunny, brisk, quite cold, near 30 degrees

Mainly sunny, cold, mid-to-upper 30’s

Very cold air has poured into the region on the heels of yesterday’s snow and temperatures today will be hard-pressed to climb past the low-to-mid 20’s for afternoon highs and stiff winds will make it feel even colder than the actual air temperature. Another coastal low pressure system is likely to bring us accumulating snow on Friday and cold high pressure will follow for the weekend anchoring another Arctic air mass.
