6-Day forecast for the New York City metro region

Clouds in the morning with lingering showers, gradual clearing this afternoon, becoming quite windy, chilly, highs in the lower 50’s early then temperatures drop later in the day

Mainly clear, cold, lows in the low-to-mid 30’s

Mainly sunny, colder, mid-to-upper 40’s for afternoon highs

Tuesday Night

Mainly cloudy, cold, low-to-mid 30’s for late night lows

Mainly cloudy, cool, chance of showers late in the day or at night, lower 50’s

Mostly cloudy, cool, chance of showers in the morning, upper 50’s

Partly sunny, cool, mid-to-upper 50’s

Mostly cloudy, cool, mid 50’s

A cold front will pass through the region early today and high pressure will build across southeastern Canada from later today into Tuesday. As a result, we’ll take a downturn in temperatures with highs up in the 50’s early today, but then doing no better than the upper 40’s on Tuesday. This high pressure system will lose control around here at mid-week and showers are likely to arrive by Wednesday night associated with low pressure to our northwest and they could last into Thanksgiving morning.
