Mainly cloudy, mild, good chance of evening showers and thunderstorms, any evening storm can be on the strong side, lows late in the mid 60’s

Mainly sunny, warm, mid-to-upper 80’s

Partly sunny, warm, maybe a late day or nighttime shower or two, upper 80’s

A strong cool front will pass through the region tonight and it’ll usher in a much more comfortable air mass for the second half of the week with high pressure building back into the Mid-Atlantic. The front will generate showers and thunderstorms later today into early tonight and some of the thunderstorms can be on the strong side; primarily, on the northwest side of I-95. Temperatures this afternoon will likely reach the 90 degree mark, but highs should be confined to the 80’s for the rest of the week.  It’ll be somewhat breezy on Wednesday on the heels of the frontal system passage and noticeably less humid compared to both yesterday and today.
