Discussion
Weak low pressure is pushing into the Mid-Atlantic region today and it should be able to produce a bit of rain, sleet and/or snow into tonight, but little or no snow accumulation is expected. High pressure will take control again at mid-week we’ll have a bit of a warm up compared to the chill of yesterday and today. A stronger low pressure system will impact the region from Thursday into Friday with the first significant precipitation event in March. There will be periods of rain on Thursday and Thursday night and the rain can change to snow on Friday as colder air filters in from the northwest.
